Youth InfoNet

Youth InfoNet is a monthly electronic source for new publications and information on youth reproductive health and HIV prevention, presented in two parts:

Part I. Program Resources. Summaries of tools, curricula, program reports, unpublished research findings, and other items that may be useful for youth programming.

Part II: Research Articles. Summaries of peer-reviewed research papers published in the last month on developing country research.

One of the recent edition, Youth InfoNet No 90 includes summaries and links to 15 program resources that focus on orphans and vulnerable children, gender and HIV infection, trafficking, risk and protections, and more. Summaries of 19 research articles include findings from Brazil, Indonesia, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand, Zimbabwe, and other countries on compensated sex, early age of sex as a risk factor for HIV infection, gender issues, and more.

YouthNet is a global program to improve reproductive health and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among people 10 to 24 years old. Supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development, YouthNet conducts research, disseminates information, improves services, and strengthens policies and programs related to the reproductive health and HIV/AIDS-prevention needs and rights of young people around the world.
