NGO support toolkit

Full of practical information, tools and guidance, this toolkit published by the HIV/AIDS Alliance covers a range of subject areas about supporting NGOs and CBOs working in HIV/AIDS. In each section, listed across the top of this page, there are resources collated and updated from different organisations, with detailed guidance and suggestions based on the experiences of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and its partners.

The toolkit is divided into seven sections:

• Monitoring and evaluation
• NSP management

Each theme and sub theme has an introduction which highlights key issues to consider for NGO/CBO support provision.

This CD-ROM toolkit is for people who are establishing, managing or studying support programmes or systems for supporting NGOs and CBOs. While this toolkit is primarily designed for programmes that aim to deliver both funding and technical support to local NGOs and CBOs, many of its resources will also be of interest to organisations that only provide funding or only training.
