Médecins Sans Frontières
Les Médecins Sans Frontières apportent leur secours aux populations en détresse, aux victimes de catastrophes d'origine naturelle ou humaine, de situations de belligérance, sans aucune discrimination de race, religion, philosophie ou politique.
Aider des individus, quels qu'ils soient, à traverser une crise. Mais aussi les accompagner jusqu'au moment où ils vont pouvoir retrouver leur autonomie antérieure. Des réfugiés aux victimes de conflits armés, aux enfants des bidonvilles, ou aux personnes ne pouvant accéder aux services de santé, l'aide des volontaires de l'association s'inscrit dans une approche précise de l'action humanitaire:
Préserver la vie dans le respect de la dignité et restaurer l'homme dans ses capacités de choix.
MSF prend en charge les patients atteints du sida et a introduit les traitements ARV dans son programme. D'autre part, un grand volet du projet MSF est de contribuer fortement à ce que de telles thérapies deviennent accessibles aux camerounais ayant un pouvoir économique faible.
