CONCORD Position Statement on the Global HIV and AIDS Pandemic

The position paper by the Conféderation Européenne des ONG d’urgence et de développement (CONCORD) was formulated with the active contribution of the Terre des hommes Foundation (Lausanne): “We, as a European confederation representing more than 1800 relief and development NGOs, urge the European Union to: ADDRESS immediately the AIDS pandemic as a global emergency, and to LEAD in the international HIV and AIDS response and in the achievement of universal access to comprehensive prevention, treatment, care and support by 2010”.
