World Vision Presentation: Understanding the Channels of Hope Methodology
This powerpoint presentation provides an illustrated overview of the ‘Channels of Hope’ methodology for mobilizing churches and other faith communities to reduce HIV-related stigma and provide compassionate care for people living with or affected by HIV. The COH process, developed by the Rev. Christo Greyling in partnership with World Vision and the Christian AIDS Bureau for South Africa, uses an experiential workshop to challenge faith leaders’ stigmatizing attitudes about HIV and humbly lead them to a place of compassion and love for those affected by HIV and AIDS.
